I'm all caught up in the TRON:Legacy anticipation right now and my creative juices are flowing.
I didn't think it appropriate to post this in an announcements section, so Off Topic will have to do.
So I was daydreaming... what if: LDSO (and I) got "nods" in the dialogue of the new movie? That'd be nice.
It could happen all in one scene. Here goes:



Sam and Kevin Flynn are at the safehouse.

Kevin: Sam, to defeat CLU, you will have to perform a clean install of the TRON program.

(Kevin picks up a book from the desk.)

Kevin: It's not as easy as typing in LOAD"*",8,1, either. You will have to use this to find and reinstall him.

(Kevin hands the book to Sam.)

Sam: What's this? The WIN3K manual?

Kevin: No, it's the TRONFAQ. Everything you need to know to successfully install and patch TRON back into EXISTENCE is in that FAQ. He will be your support in getting past CLU's security. Moreover, he can take care of or distract Rinzler for you while you take on CLU.

Sam: I can handle Rinzler. Why can't TRON handle CLU?

Kevin: Because CLU is gaining user abilities. I am certain that you could handle Rinzler, but CLU is more than a match for TRON. It's going to take more than a mere program to defeat him. And between Rinzler and CLU, CLU is the MORE EVIL ONE. But you have an advantage over CLU.

Sam: Yeah? What's that?

Kevin: He's arrogant. Like me. Like I was. He believes that he is more powerful than any program, which is true, or user, which is not true. He started as a program and has copied bits of my digitized code for his own use. He is a merge of human and program. He lords himself over the Users, looking down on them as mere MEATSACKS. You know better. It's the complete unpredictability of your humanity that will bring his downfall.

Sam: I see your point. You can't do it because he knows you all too well. He knows nothing about me and what I can do.

Kevin: Exactly.

Sam: Well, then I guess I better get reading. I won't let you down. And when we're cutting through those guards, I'll make sure I ZOOK ONE of them in your name.

Kevin: I appreciate that, Sam. You make me proud.
