Greetings,
I'm having difficulty setting my my Dedit again using Windows 7 64bit. Dedit does not seem to be processing the worlds for me and the "Run" button which I used extensively when making User Error 2 is not working.
Has anybody got Dedit working on Win7 64bit?

Hmm, that's odd. I've been using DEdit and the World Processor on Win 7 64-bit and it all works fine for me.
Now, the Run button I could never get to work reliably. Even on XP. It would work for a while, then eventually it would crap out. No rhyme or reason to it.
If you go to the Edit menu and click Options, then the Run tab, check the settings to see if they look like this:

Also, if you have a multi-core processor, you probably want to change the NumThreads field on the Advanced tab of the World Processor.
It's supposed to automatically determine how many cores you have if it's set to 0. But I changed it to match the number of cores I have, just to be safe. It could help speed up your compiling by making sure to take advantage of more than one core.

I've got it working now all be it a bit little buggy. Have you been able to get .dtx file thumbnails visible in Win 7 file explorer?

Yeah, unfortunately the .DTX thumbnail previews that Winrez provides doesn't work in 64-bit Windows. Sucks, I know.
Winrez itself didn't work too well in Vista 64-bit, either. But on Win 7 64-bit it works well again.
