I never go to any conventions or things like that (they are always too far away) but wow, this does look like an original way to get interest going for Tron nerds like ourselves!
Argh!!! Want those damn coins.. and the USB drive...

Re: Tron goes viral?
I'm doing my best to keep up with all the TRON sequel news on my site, so you'll want to keep checking back every so often for updates about the sequel coming from the San Diego Comicon.

And, to be honest, I'm a little bit disappointed with the fact that Disney (or in this case, their marketing company) didn't think of the TRON fan sites when they did this. I'm not saying that the fan sites are necessarily going to be the places that people will go for the news. They'll go to the big sites like G4TV, IGN, UGO, Aint-it-Cool, etc.
No, but I was thinking more along the lines of: how about simply rewarding the fans for sticking by TRON all these years, during the drought since TRON 2.0 was released. Even if they didn't send anything to the fan sites, how about at least getting in contact with them and offering to supply news or updates?
But, no. Typical Disney. The fans come last.

Yes, not sending a token to the Tron-Sector seems a bit lame to me after how active it' has been for all these years

My mind was indeed blown. That was beautiful. I am not convinced by the whole 3-D affair, but the rest of the this film looks to be excellent.

There's cleaner sites than that above to check out, that one was claimed to have adware/spyware by McAfee
