The answer is, maybe . . .

I'm not sure if all versions of TurboCAD support exporting .OBJ files. It seems like it. If you can export geometry as an .OBJ file, DEdit might be able to import it. DEdit has an .OBJ import feature.

I'd recommend just creating a small, simple test map and export it as an .OBJ. Then try importing it into DEdit. See how it turns out. I'm not sure how good DEdit's .OBJ import feature is. I've never used it, myself.

I see Zook replied to your same question over on TRON-Sector. He made some good suggestions. Blender is free, and there's an export plug-in that allows you to save your map in the .LTA format that DEdit uses, right away.
