i wanted to host a game, and i opened the required port but when i looked in the deticated server it said there was an error and that maybe i needed to open port 27888 (which is the one i opened) could there be somthing else im missing?

Playing online you can get away with just 27888, but for hosting you also need 27889 open.

is becuase i only have them open to incoming traffic?

Yeah, you also need to make sure that your firewall/router is allowing outgoing as well as incoming traffic (full server access) for Lithtech.exe and TRONSrv.exe.

And if there is an option to specify it on the router (if you have one), the ports should be set as UDP. Not TCP.

ok so i should allow ingoing and outgoing fot lithtech and tronsrv on ports 27888-27889?
