Also having played all the platforms (Except PC)
Have to throw out a small opposing argument here for Evolution.
Been needing to post pics and info anyways.
Gotta say this,
Will everyone stop ripping on Evolution already!!!!!
Show of hands. . . . . .
Who amongst you has played the Demos?????
Anyone. . . . Bueller. . . .

. . . .Bueller. . . .
That's what I thought.
Iight, Let me start off with this -
I will agree with the Spoony review on the the whole jumping/leaping/spiderman wall climbing thing,
At first.
That was a pain and felt rather out of place for the "Classic Tron" feel.
However,
Once you get the hang of it,
When you get into the hand to hand combat of it,
It really gives the type of movement and game play that 2.0 really could have benefited from.
Also its very refreshing to be able to play in 3rd person perspective.
You all know how much I personally love 2.0, but the player movement was stiff, end of story.
Also,
Everyone is basing their reviews on "DEMOS"
Hello, everyone knows you dont get to play the real shiznit till its full version time!
Yeah people are going to rip on the demos,
Especially when they are early versions of the game play.
I know there is "NO Convincing" many of you,
everyone, (Including myself) Loves Classic Tron and nothing will ever compare to the joy and simplicity of the Original.
I'm also sure when the game comes out many of you will go; "Oh this game so blows even more than I thought"
But you know, give it a chance, thats not so difficult is it?
Some food for thought -
Being the Unreal Engine,
We as modders will hopefully be able to rip out and do some Kahhhh-Raaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzeeee Shiznit with it.
If the game/story blows,
We can make it better.
So look at it this way,
New Engine,
New materials,
More possibilities.
I know you all are going to slam me for this,
But for those of you who were/are fans of DM,
Dont knock it yet.
WII -
Tron for the Wii rocks. Say what you will, but it does.
Its a totally different type of game play.
To appreciate it,
You have to like playing Nintendo and the Wii style of gaming.
Its a very interactive game.
If your hard core PC, this game isn't for you.
IMO, The Wii version has more of the 2.0 game play feel.
The levels are a bit more "Toon" looking,
And I would say the XBox Killer App style is very comparable to the Wii version,
But way more slick.
Sorry folks,
I actually enjoyed playing the game.
Guess I'm just sick that way.
Peace
Mor
