Production on TRON Ares has, unfortunately, been delayed due to the writers' and actors' strikes going on in Hollywood right now.
"Deadline sources inform us that production on Tron: Ares is merely paused until both guilds return to work; the plug hasn’t been pulled on the Disney threequel."

Bummer that it has been delayed, but I get it. I'm glad to hear though that Ares is not being scrapped because of this.

I'm excited about any new Tron, but overall...cautiously optimistic. I'm still on the fence about how the whole "real-word" and "digital world" collides scenario. I love the digital world of Tron and hope that it doesn't tarnish it. But hey, the soundtrack should be great!
