meeting Jeff Bridges

I found out about the whole, cool Flynn's Arcade scavenger hunt viral promo a couple months too late to get in on it. On one hand I really regret that, but on the other hand I probably would have run my business and finances into the ground trying desperately to show up for something I didn't have the time and money to unexpectedly drop everything and run off and show up for, .
My lil' sis did get to meet Bridges not too long before he started Legacy, working as an extra on the set of "Crazy Heart" in Santa Fe. Said he's a really, really nice guy:

Her mom said the same thing; she was there and was supposed to give him a refreshment at some point, but nervous & unsure about when (as he was engaged in conversation with an attractive woman), so she apologized for distracting him when he was, "...trying to get his game on", but he just gave her a warm smile, put his arm around her, and said with a wink, "I've always got my game on!"
Kinda made her day, as it's so common to get yelled at like a lackey at gigs like that. For them, it was a day well spent, and gave them extra cash & stories to bring home.

Nice! to bad i live in australia///the chances of meeting tron royalty for myself zero! though i could always travel///or perhaps when tron legacy is released****we may get a promotional tour in oz?

I'm not too surprised that Jeff Bridges is a nice guy offscreen, he's from the older generation of actors where class and grace meant something. And he married a woman who was a farm hand, so that just goes to show you he wasn't stuck up and insisted on marrying someone from Hollywood or in business circles.

Still, it's nice to know he treated your sister and her mom well.
