@Tron.dll

Well u need to select -N- prioritize. Is the name of the project more important to be catchy & so on or does the number of the participants count more to have more fun. If i were u my focus would be the number as to my experience "there more people the bigger the chance the constancy of the meeting will keep on". Nevertheless it's not my intention to bug on u both. Don't missunderstand me as many always usualy do.

Though it's sad when u put some effort & it doesn't bring any payback.. Avi could tell u how it feels like when u prepare for each event nice flyyers & even not the half of the people arrive. Think also about those who would want add some spirit too but they can't due the wrong date or due timezone problems. And as told before Tron 2.0 is a game where u need alot of patience until the first fruits can be harvested. If u are lucky a few people more will support FNF aslong as they know i anyways couldn't attend because of the time to would have such 4 or 5am early in the morning. ;)

If i understood u, u wouldn't care to play afternoons aswell ? U know afternoon is from 1pm until 5pm. After 5pm u can call it lateafternoon & with 6pm u start into the evening-phase. Well if u stay at ur point with time, so that u don't want to play FNF in ur afternoons then don't expect much action & fun. U can't have both at once by meaning comfortable timesetting for just u because to play Tron during a sundown could enhance the atmopshere while to expect alot's of buddies to enter. Well then i will give up on FNF. I only support projects that suit for the world & not just one nation. The purpose of FNF anyways seems not to have a supporting nature.

BTW. weekend....on the last weekend i did make a promise to two programs i would show up again on the grid. As usualy the best time to catch me is between 7pm until 11pm [utc aka gmt + 1hour]. In case i'm not online don't loose ur eye for the grid. The best is u keep idyling until i arrive. By doing this the chances are big to gain other players for the fun. If u wouldn't want to idyle, therefore doing something different with ur computer instead etc... then don't hesiate to use the tool called TRONLINK for the sake of monitoring the gamegrid to easier catch the action when it just happens.

I have issues with TRON-LINK. I think it's a system that doesn't work at all.

I too tried to discover the problem with Tronlink several times. To me after opening it Tronlink get's froozen. Perhaps there is something with my operating system wrong as it anyways should be reinstalled again or it's a firewall issue to think for. I thought also for disabling Windows Firewall (Sp3). But i'm still behind a firewall. A server with a linux firewall is directly plugged with the Internet modem. The network is abit complex for me.

But as i'm a lazy ass & as the americans prefer to play when it's early da morning from my side, Tronlink in my case is useless. But for u guyz it might be useful especially when u2 are ready for the world outside the A to play. ;)

Speak with DaddyO about this issue. If i don't misstaken he is the initiator behind Tronlink. Perhaps he knows something to help u or maybe he could be convinced to fix something. It's long ago since the release. An update could be interesting for many people.

Hmm, that's strange. Tronlink works perfect for me....

Anyways, I might be able to get on tonight for FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHTS!!!

I say might because I might have some company tonight. Can't be playing a single player game with tons of guests (single player meaning no local MP). If I don't get on by 8:00 PM Eastern Time, join me sometime tomorrow for, uh, how 'bout Saturday Smackdown? Okay, real cheesy I know. Just look for me in that timeframe between 8:00 and 8:30 PM (Eastern Time). Not too sure about it, cross yer fingers!

An alternate reason could be my gift to the people who got UE2 to work, hehe. Play UE2 tonight, play Saturday Smackdown tomorrow! Without UE2 on, of course. :D

Xfire now has official clans.

Than again, they've had it for awhile.

Get Xfire. Join the Official Tron Squad. I'm Leader, Jademz is leader, Anderson is leader (Or, 'MCPs')

Everyone who is your friend will see you play Tron.

Get on with it! :P

Xfire sounds as a nice workarround for those who can't make Tronlink working on their system. I don't know if Xfire would be useful to me too when tournaments such FNF anyways happen during my deep late nites. However i don't need to cry because yesterday & the weekend before i had the honor to met alot of programs. Some have been hiding behind new nicks but i don't care aslong there is no bullshit going on.

With Programm Yet from Holland & Erosion aka Jesus freak there always is alot's of fun to expect. I'm sure they have the same kind of joke in head like me. Therefore a nice flow with them. :) Also Tron.dll & Death Programm gave some appearance. I thank everyone for the support & i will continue visiting the gamegrid always at weekends in the usual time that seems work for a few US-guys aswell. If we keep this regular meetings i'm sure more comebacks can be expected. The same goes for newcomers if they find out that at weekends they can expect us veterans to play. :)

$99.99 per month isn't worth it for me, as I barely ever play PC games online anymore (I stick to consoles). The only PC game that I think has online MP is TRON 2.0, which hardly has anyone online, anyways.

Of course then again, I'm probably the only person here against XBOX Live. To clarify, I'm not against the service, I'm against having to pay for it.

I actually know some XBOX 360 fanboys who epic fail sometimes. Such as this instance:
Fanboy (To me): Dude, XBOX Live is totally worth paying $70 a year for! It's extremely reliable and has no lag!

--Week later--

Fanboy (to other fanboy): Oh my god, XBOX Live went down again!
Other Fanboy: Yeah, it's being so unreliable lately.
Then I've heard multiple people giving me multiple prices. There's one group of people telling me it's $70/year. Another group of people are telling me it's $50/year. Some person's telling me "It's less than 5 cents a month!". How much is it?!?!?!?!?!?

END OF RANT

I've been using xfire for a few years, I think it's great. It has ads on it but the bandwidth of them doesn't seem to bother me, unless your dialup... It is always being updated but that usually only takes 10 seconds when you launch it.

yeah there are like 17 members now in the xfire tron squad. our combined hours spent on tron 2.0 are 1245 hours! i always leave xfire on when i go into a game, espesh if its battlefield 2 because it lets you use xfire in-game, without alt-tabbing. that feature and a few more are available for newer and even more popular games like wow

I'm just gonna take a wild guess here and say that WOW and BF2 can't run with a 658 Megahurt processor...

So is XFire worth downloading if the only online PC game I play is TRON 2.0?

I have BF2, but it's on XBOX so I can't do online MP. I'm thinkin' about trying to trade it in for the PS2 version, though.
