Borat was pretty funny.

I saw Nacho Libre with my son recently and it had some laugh out-loud moments. "GET THAT CORN OUTTA MY FACE!"...umm,I guess you had to be there.

I also dig Anchorman and 40 Year Old Virgin. Those movies have some of the funniest on-the-spot dialogue you'll ever hear.

Grandmas Boy hands down has to be one of the more recent and decent comedys I watched!

If you like gaming, you will dig the inside jokes from that film!

hey people, ive been inactive for a long time since my internet died, but just wanted to dig up this thread again to mention a tv comedy that ive been hooked to this month, Whose Line Is It Anyway? There a british and American version with tons of vids of it on youtube. Does anyone else know of this show and would they like to gawp with me at ryan stile's and collin mochrie's genius?

I LOVE WHO'S LINE.

At least the American version anyway. I always thought that was better.

Such a great show. If you watched the American version, you also get to see Wayne Brady, and he can really make some good songs on the spot. :)

Very good show.

Now it's MY TURN! :

Top Secret! - Made by the guys who made Airplane
Spy Hard - Leslie Nielsen film.

And Shows:

Futurama - Made by Matt Groening, Creator of The Simpsons
The Simpsons, of course.
And data, I'm sure you've heard of this old British classic:
Monty Python's flying Circus

Absolutely AMAZING show.

I'll have to check out top secret. Got to see grandma's boy the other night, keep the kids away from that one hehe. Totally funny scene with them doing the dance-dance revolution battle. It had adam sandler all over it, but nowhere to be seen, then spotted him as a producer of it.

I could post some Austrian comedey aswell but i'm afraid it would too much differ with the kind of joking the Americans or UK-guys are used to. For example...our comedy scene lesser is based on mischances & idiotic looks from the actors. The Austrian comedey more is linked with the flow of the content itself such... what the characters are sayin to each other & so therefore the deeper meaning.

Of course sometimes our comedeys can happen in a rough manner but i noticed that our scene starts to develop more intelligent Comedey-stories. Such there is only one guy on the stage & he tells u about his stories. Often these actors have to jam alot. What for example the Vienna-peps in here prefer is to listen to a story, that starts seriously but hides a gimmick inside. And that's what our people more prefer. They want to pickup the funny moment by themselves. Maybe that's why i can't laugh at all these Comedey-sitcoms that coming from the States. I mean...thru each episode i notice like 50x the laugher sample that get played on a keyboard but i often fail to find the funny point. Perhaps the synchronisation makes a bad job too. Who knows.

What i noticed too is that even between the States & the U.K. there are differencies how they celebrate Comedey allthough they use the same language. :)

I recently caught up with the rest of the world and watched Ferris Beuler's Day Off. Favorite line: "Dinner's ready!" :-D
