Rant:
I hate fake celebrities (actors, musicians, etc.) that are always pretending to be up in arms about some foreign affair so that the public sees them as sensitive and not the plastic a#@holes they really are.
Why don't you rally for the rights of your own countrymen, freaks?
Madonna, Sharon Stone, The Beastie Boys, Sean Penn, ad nauseum...
Well, there was that one time Sean Penn came to my city in a boat following Hurricane Katrina and rescued a hamster. I guess Tibet didn't need him that week.
I used my Tron 2.0 disc to raise money for the homeless albino children of zombie redneck waitresses.

Well now that you mention it, I've discussed this topic with Bigred. But yes, what was boxhat.com is a possibility for the near future. The domain name is still registered. Thus I spoke in pretense. Hopefully. Several people want to see the site up.Avi wrote:Don't you mean "had"?Jademz wrote: I think it has alot of potential.
Past tense.

You sure you want to use the word "pretense" there?
Here's the definition (and keep an eye on meanings 5 and 6):
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pretense
Anyway...
I think we're doing well enough with LDSO.net and Tron Sector. Those problem children from Boxhat wouldn't dare come here or the Sector knowing that their kind isn't tolerated in either forum. That's why Daddyo and I split from there way before it went down. Bigred stopped participating in the forums long ago (but was noble enough to keep paying for the site to remain online), and didn't even so much as give a "Hey guys, I'm shutting it down" to the remaining members. He just pulled the plug one day without explanation (though none was needed...but a good host always explains why the party has to end before he leads his guests to the door).
There's no reason for Boxhat to exist again other than to sell homemade beer. We've got everything we need right here.

Boxhat went down because ServerSeed went bankrupt. Noone had a full backup of Boxhat.com simply because noone was driving or conscious of a problem, nor did many people care - due to no lack of uncoherent rambling. But I thought alot of it, and those who watched. Many threads are dead. I see no reason to worry about the past. There were some fine people on there reguardless. The point is, the enjoyment Tron, and doing what we enjoy, those are reasons for making such a thing.Avi wrote: I think we're doing well enough with LDSO.net and Tron Sector. Hey! Wait a minute! I'm a celebrity! I was just talking about celebrities that use the misery of other countries to get some face time on TV shows, the internet, and newspapers (do people still read those?).data_ghost wrote:i want all celebrities to die.
Leave us low-life do-nothing celebrities out of your killing spree, m'kay?
