making a minecraft server

if anyone is familiar with minecraft, im trying to start up a server, its called MAD HATTERS TEA PARTY
my name in minecraft is svansen_floven1 and the server is being blocked on the local system
the reason i know this is because i try to access it from my laptop and it fails
then i access it on the host and it works

i will be willing to award ranks to all who help
i am using mcsharp

oh and btw, does anyone know a good way to learn programming with c?

Unreal scripting will set you up for that! download context and the unreal script plugin! :D

does visual studio 2008 have an unreal plugin? because i have that, and i want to learn c because mcsharp is written in c and i wanted to do a few things with it

context! is free and supports a huge amount of script formats! :D dont know if visual studio 2008 has a unreal plugin though? as i have never used it///only and always been using context......................... :arrow:

hmm, well right now my priority is getting the server up, no use modifying the script if i cant use it, i posted on the minecraft site and no-one could (or will) help me, im running the server on a windows xp system
pentium 4, 2.40 ghz processor
768 mb ram
xp service pack 3
