Hey!
What was that game someone was working on back when?
it was probably one of the User Error Team or maybe Sweaty Pyro or someone like that....
It was Tron-like in look and feel.
I remember nearly all of this sample level was white glow effect on black and it was pretty huge structure in a vast open, yet confined space. The person used (I think) a bunch of modified Tron2.0 prefabs but altered them. There was a big, massive spinning circullar, almost doughnut shaped space to exploew o get to....
Anyone remember this?

Sounds to me like you're describing deeahchur's Multiplayer maps? Specifically, his YCP Carrier map?

Exactly!
That has to be it - damn that was many moons ago. Still I remember something else in white and black - maybe it was a concept-start of his but this def. looks like what what remember as well. - Still, this is awesome and I did not see it all.
