How about Windows Movie Maker? :shock:Daddyo wrote:I've got a load of videos of Avi eatin it, whats the recommended SW for converting to something that is much more compact than the .avi's that fraps puts out?
I'm serious. It's free, and you already have it as part of Windows. It gives you a lot of flexibility by being able to pick different sizes and bitrates. (At least, it did in XP. In Vista, Microsoft decided to take away a lot of options to make it "simpler". PDT_Armataz_01_27) And everybody with a PC can play back the .WMV files, too.
You could also try compressing them with Divx or Xvid. Xvid allows you to encode for free, but with Divx you have to pay for that feature.
