Tron Sector is "Malicious"?

Post by Avi »

Whenever I go to any page in Tron Sector, I get this message. Anyone else come across this? It says that Google reports that out of 30 visits to the site, each one found Tron Sector downloading some type of malicious software to my computer. I have been having the same security settings for a long time, and this is new. It has only happened on Tron Sector's site.

Auric I think is his name did say it was attacked. Said something about javascript being put into the databases, so who knows what could have resulted, except probably him since he may have had a look at the resulting script.

There's a thread on Tron-Sector about it. Auric said the site is in the process of being cleaned up. And he's working on measures to prevent this from happening again in the future.

I had to turn off my security setting for warnings on FF3 to be able to post. hehe. I don't think there's any danger. Although I noticed my PC act weird, it's fine, and what happened was some of my shortcuts went missing. And I (shame!) did a windows restore. LOL.

Well, I took a weird peice of code out of one of my posts and it restored the thread back to normal.

Before I removed it, the page layout was all screwed up and all the posts after the one with the code in it were gone. After I removed it, everything came back and the page layout went back to normal. :???:

Yeah, don't even google it. By now, you probably need an anti-virus and a good blood transfusion just to remove the cooties from your body.

The Corruption has truly taken over.

On the other hand, it appears this bug was trying to sabotage yet another Guitar Hero post...so how bad can it be?
