Syd Mead, a Concept Artist on TRON, has passed away

Syd Mead – who had a large part in the visual design of TRON – has just passed away, at the age of 86.

TRON wouldn’t have been as amazing, visually, without his participation. He also designed the Super Light Cycle for TRON 2.0. RIP, Syd.
