Well now I'm here ...

Just wanted to say "hello" to all you tronguys ! I'm PapstJoe - or if you want me to tell in english : PopeJoe . Normally i speak german, but im teachin' me in your language a bit ... - so please don't hate me if some phrasing is wrong, ok ? ^^

Well, ok, some information :

I've been looking for years for a worthy follower for Tron 2.0, well - we all now that it will never happen, don't we ?

Oh man, it's an awesome game, isn't it ?

Got my first depression when i bought Tron Evolution last weekend. So i understand why Disney killed "Propaganda Games" ^^ (someone should kill Disney i think) . I don't understand why there is no Tron-Online Franchise, you know- well-supported , patched "every week" , like CoD (i hate CoD , but the technology isn't that bad).
Well i also think, that the problem of the new game is that it had to be linked to the new movie ...

Oh, i've one question to you guys, whats goin' on with your playin'-times, you know - when do you play on the servers, especially on Tron 2.0 . Oh and this Tronklink - program doesn't work on my Win7
for any reason ...

Also wanted to say thats nice to be here. Im very happy that i finally found a place, where tronfans get in contact with each other .

Welcome to this little place on the Grid!

Don't worry about language issues. We're multi-cultural here, so we expect some linguistic hiccups. It is not a big deal.

Game times are usually on weekends, and there have a thread specifically for this purpose.

Yeah, like deeahchur said, don't worry about language. There are people from all over the world visiting here. One of our LDSO team members is also from Germany. I think your English is very good and could understand you fine.

About Evolution. I'm not sure everyone agrees, but I do agree with you. Evolution isn't a very good game.

There is another Tron movie sequel supposedly coming. If that happens, then there will still be another Tron game to go with it. Maybe next time Disney will do a better job? But, honestly, Disney does not seem to learn from their mistakes. So I'm not getting my hopes up.

As deeahcur also pointed out, people mostly play Tron 2.0 online on weekends (Friday evening until Sunday evening). We have some topics discussing getting together, one of them is here.

Be welcome on our sites. And yes, don't care about the language (i'm german as well, so one more to produce some 'hiccups' ).

And about the new game, well most was already said in different threads here or on other boards. I will not buy this game to soon, i'll do until it gets cheaper. At least my machine is too weak to play it anyway. So i'll stick to modding/mapping for Tron2.0.
