Re: Who owns...?
I bought my 20th Anniversary DVD right after it came out. I even have the previous, bare-bones DVD version that was released before it.
The new documentary that came as an extra was awesome. Heck, the whole package is awesome.
I wonder what Disney will do for the Blu-ray version, when they get around to releasing it.

I still remember when Mor picked up the special edition and we first saw the Tron 2.0/Sequel/Whatever it was going to be trailer. That was a great Tron moment. Who would of thought it would lead to a game, that would lead to a clan, that would lead to such a close community of fans. Good time

Re: Who owns...?
I don't have it handy right now, but from memory: they just use still shots from the movie as backgrounds. It's nowhere near as cool as the new animations they did for the 20th Anniversary version. And your only options are play movie, select scene, and I think maybe they put one commentary and a trailer on the disc. Very sparse on extras.TRON.dll wrote:Out of curiosity, what are the menus like on that version?

Re: Who owns...?
I own a few of them.
I think it's well worth it, and the menus on the newer release look great, the intro is a remake of the scene where Flynn has been digitized and is flying in orbit over the digital world, goes through the clouds to an IO tower. There are a few others, not as "cinematic" as that, but cool looking. More cartoon than Tron's digital world. I like them.
