Avatars

Hi everyone,

We were having some problems with some avatars, so I had to go in and delete some of them. The avatars from the old phpbb2 board didn't transfer over right to phpbb3 or something like that. Anyways, it created a giant empty box where the old avatar was. So, if you see that your avatar is not there, and it should, please don't take it personal, you just have to log into your profile and upload it again

Now, for most users it will be harder to find the browse or upload button within the profile. But in other hand it's an advantage for the forums performance as people still tend to overdo it by uploading animated gifs instead a simple jpg that would just show a reallife picture. Animated stuff may cause a delay while loading a thread. It doesn't bother me with cable but it will bother those who are connected thru dialup.
